Structure
The Quebec Federation of Parents' Committees gather parents' committees from 61 Quebec's school boards.
The bodies of the Federation are : a General Council, an Executive Council a Forum of parents of Handicapped Students and Students with Social Maladjustements (PEHDAA Forum) or Learning Disabilities and an Ethics Committee.
General Council
The General Council is composed of:

Two (2) delegates from each Parents’ Committee, selected from its members and in accordance with the rules established by the Committee.

Two (2) delegates from the PEHDAA Forum, selected in accordance with the rules set out.

No delegate may be ineligible under the terms of concerned articles.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is made up of 10 members, i.e., four (4) officers and six (6) advisors.
The four (4) officers are the President, the Vice-President, the Treasurer, and a Representative for English-language Affairs.
In order to encourage the diversity of representation on the Executive Committee, the six advisors are elected on the basis of the following geographical clusters:

Advisor A: Gaspésie/Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Nord-du-Québec, Côte-Nord

Advisor B: Montréal, Laval

Advisor C: Montérégie, Estrie

Advisor D: Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Mauricie-Centre-du-Québec

Advisor E: Laurentides, Lanaudière, Outaouais

Advisor F: Capitale-Nationale, Chaudière-Appalaches, Bas-Saint-Laurent
The Director General attends the meetings of the Executive Committee, but does not have the right to vote.
PEHDAA Forum
The PEHDAA Forum is composed of delegated parents, one for each CCSEHDAA of a school board of which the Parents’ Committeeis a Federation member.
Ethics Committee
All matters pertaining to the Ethics Committee (composition, term of office, procedures, and powers) will be reviewed by the General Council in 2011-2012 for the purpose of amending these General Regulations.
